At DailyAgent Check, we do our best to be accurate and unbiased in our findings and reports. However, we recognize that mistakes may happen at any point, new information or data may emerge concerning published reports or some important information may be missed.
We declare to address all concerns with speed, fairness and transparency and be accountable for the process. In the event that there are factual errors or the context within which the report is published changes or new information emerges from our understanding of the subject that warrants clarification or correction, we will make corrections and highlight the corrections made in the original report with an explanation to readers why the correction was made.
Where such corrections are made or reports are updated to reflect the new information or correction, the report or story will carry “CORRECTED” or “UPDATED” on the headline. It will also carry “EDITOR’S NOTE” to explain the development to our readers.
Where the change or clarification makes a significant impact on the conclusion of the report, the change will be EFFECTED and REPUBLISHED as the lead story on our website and circulated on social media and the first story will be DELETED. However, if it is a minor change, we will not make the report a lead story but rather remain in the chronological order within which it was published.
However, we may not alter our report if we consider the complaints to be against the IFCN Principles, which our methodology and editorial policies are based on. If any of our readers find any errors that are factual or any published reports with a context that needs correcting, such persons should contact our editor for review and correction.
